A very high quality stretch cord has been combined with a very comfortable and adjustable belt to produce a world class training tool.
The stretch cord is used to train swimming power and speed. When swimming against the resistance of the cord (resistance mode) SPECIFIC swimming power is developed. The stretch cord can be used to train the full stroke or the arms and legs in isolation.
The stretched elastic tether can also be used to tow the swimmer through the water enabling technique work during fast swimming (assisted mode). Using this technique the swimmer learns to improve streamlining and ‘feel for the water’ at future target race speeds. The swimmer strives for perfect technique throughout the swim.
The wide belts are padded for comfort and the sliding buckle system is quick and easy to use.
Clips are provided to enable the stretch cord to be easily anchored.
The stretch cord is designed for a maximum of 25m. Two cords may be linked together for 50m training. | |
